[Sketches for a Piano Sonata] — [Skizzen für eine Klaviersonate]

Remarks: According to Craft, Strawinsky’s last completed artistic work was a piano arrangement of two sketches that he had produced for an uncompleted orchestral work that he had been working on since November 1966. This miniature composition was performed on 3rd February 1973 by Madeleine Malraux in Columbia University. Charles Wuorinen put together the fragments and orchestrated them into a composition with the title A Stravinsky Reliquary based on Strawinsky’s sketches.
